On September 5, the entire community went to Le Mans at the invitation of Monsignor Le Saux to meet the families of the diocese and well as members of other religious orders for a day celebrating consecrated life. We even earn a plenary indulgence for our effort!

Père Olivier-Thomas, o.p., gave us a week-long course of Biblical studies beginning on 8 September. As has been the case in previous years, his focus was the Passion according to Saint Matthiew.

On the 15th, when the younger monks who are pursuing their studies in philosophy and theology returned to their classes (here in the monastery), the community was honored by the arrival of cardinal Theodore-Adrian Sarr, former archbishop of Dakar (Senegal) who came to make a retreat of several days within our walls.
